چکیده
In this paper, we present a deterministic permutation flowshop scheduling problem with new objective function, the total core idle time. The interest of is related to reduce energy consumption system, taking into account that needed during processing times constant, and machines are switched off front back times. Therefore, dependent on time where in stand-by mode, i.e between jobs, named as Constructive heuristics metaheuristics adapted from literature for classical objectives makespan completion Additionally, variant one metaheuristic proposed, VBIH-P. An experimental evaluation has been carried out analyse performance all methods. results show an excellent VBIH-P compared

The distributed permutation flowshop scheduling problem
This paper studies a new generalization of the regular permutation flowshop scheduling problem (PFSP) referred to as the distributed permutation flowshop scheduling problem or DPFSP. Under this generalization, we assume that there are a total of identical factories or shops, each one with machines disposed in series. A set of n available jobs have to be distributed among the factories and then ...
متن کاملBi-criteria minimization for the permutation flowshop scheduling problem with machine-based learning effects
In traditional scheduling problems, the processing time for the given job is assumed to be a constant regardless of whether the job is scheduled earlier or later. However, the phenomenon named ‘‘learning effect’’ has extensively been studied recently, in which job processing times decline as workers gain more experience. This paper discusses a bi-criteria scheduling problem in anm-machine permu...
متن کاملMakespan minimization for m-machine permutation flowshop scheduling problem with learning considerations
Studies on scheduling with learning considerations have recently become important. Most studies focus on single-machine settings. However, numerous complex industrial problems can be modeled as flowshop scheduling problems. This paper thus focuses on minimizing the makespan in an m-machine permutation flowshop with learning considerations. This paper proposes a dominance theorem and a lower bou...
متن کاملMILP models and valid inequalities for the two-machine permutation flowshop scheduling problem with minimal time lags
In this paper, we consider the problem of scheduling on two-machine permutation flowshop with minimal time lags between consecutive operations of each job. The aim is to find a feasible schedule that minimizes the total tardiness. This problem is known to be NP-hard in the strong sense. We propose two mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) models and two types of valid inequalities which aim t...
متن کاملTabu search for non-permutation flowshop scheduling problem with minimizing total tardiness
This paper deals with the non-permutation flowshop problem which means that the job sequences are allowed to be different on machines. The objective function is minimizing the total tardiness. Firstly, three mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) models for non-permutation flowshop problems are described, and then are analyzed and assessed their relative effectiveness. Secondly, two Tabu searc...
